Alle functionality of Cosima are controlled by the Cosima Parameters. These Parameters are to be set before starting the kernel program, typically using the graphical user interface Cosima Gui.

There is a default value for every Cosima Parameter, which is valid as long as it is overwritten by the user.
Inside of batchfiles, a two-letter-shortname form is used, e.g. /VM for VerboseMode.
