Cosima with two-pass run: First compute the correction parameters, then adjust the stereo window
With the start of the batch file cosima_twopass.bat, during a first run all
correction parameters are computed and stored into the database cosima_files.txt. Images will not be
created during this first run. With the second run, these parameters were read out and used at once.
Simultaneously the stereo window will be adjusted interactively. The advantage of this method is, that
no timewasting computing processes have to be awaited between the window setting of two images. Does only
operate with the licensed version.

cosima_nice.bat gestartet.
|
Decrease process priority
To decrease the process priority, you only have to start the program with the batch file
cosima_nice.bat.

Stereobilder splitten
cosima_split.ini
gesplittet werden. Die wesentlichen Parameter sind:
- InputMode = 4 (nimm einfach jedes Bild!)
- ImageType = jpg (oder abändern!)
- StereoImageInput = 1 (Inputbilder sind schon montiert!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (keine Korrektur!)
- LeftRightOutput = 2 (man will ja Einzelbilder!)
- StereoOutput = 0 (das braucht man nicht mehr!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (das braucht man auch nicht!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (nur Pixel kopieren)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (wird meistens zutreffen!)
|
Split stereo images
It is easy possible to split already mounted stereo images afterwards, using the
ini-file cosima_split.ini. The main parameters are:
- InputMode = 4 (simple take every image!)
- ImageType = jpg (or change to your needs!)
- StereoImageInput = 1 (input images are already mounted!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (no correction!)
- LeftRightOutput = 2 (you aim to have single images!)
- StereoOutput = 0 (this you already have!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (you won't need this!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (only copy pixels.!)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (propaply needed!)
|
Stereobilder wieder zusammensetzen
cosima_combine.ini.
Die wesentlichen Parameter dafür sind:
- InputMode = 4 (nimm einfach alle Bilder!)
- ImageType = jpg (oder abändern!)
- StereoImageInput = 2 (Inputbilder jetzt Einzelbilder!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (keine Korrektur!)
- LeftRightOutput = 0 (das braucht man nicht mehr!)
- StereoOutput = 2 (man will ja Stereobilder!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (das braucht man nicht!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (nur Pixel kopieren)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (wird meistens zutreffen!)
|
Combine stereo images
Of course, you also can combine the splitted images. Use for that the
ini-file cosima_combine.ini. The main parameters are:
- InputMode = 4 (simple take every image!)
- ImageType = jpg (or change to your needs!)
- StereoImageInput = 2 (input images now single images!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (no correction!)
- LeftRightOutput = 0 (this you already have!)
- StereoOutput = 2 (you aim to have mounted stereos!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (you won't need this!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (only copy pixels!)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (propaply needed!)

Rechtes Bild drehen
cosima_reverse.ini.
- InputMode = 4 (nimm einfach alle Bilder!)
- ImageType = jpg (oder abändern!)
- StereoImageInput = 1 (Inputbilder sind schon montiert!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (keine Korrektur!)
- AutoOutputContrast = 0 (keine Korrektur!)
- LeftRightOutput = 0 (das braucht man nicht mehr!)
- StereoOutput = 2 (man will ja Stereobilder!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (das braucht man nicht!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (nur Pixel kopieren)
- MirrorOutput = 2 (rechtes Bild spiegeln!)
- CroppOutput = 0 (keine Aktion)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (wird meistens zutreffen!)
|
Rotate right image
This file opens a side-by-side mounted image, mirrors the right side
(for the Ekeren viewer) and remounts it:
cosima_reverse.ini.
- InputMode = 4 (simple take every image!)
- ImageType = jpg (or change to your needs!)
- StereoImageInput = 1 (input images are already mounted!)
- EstimateGeometry = 0 (no correction!)
- AutoOutputContrast = 0 (no correction!)
- LeftRightOutput = 0 (you won't need this!)
- StereoOutput = 2 (you aim to have mounted stereos!)
- AnaglyphOutput = 0 (you won't need this!)
- InterpolationMode = 0 (only copy pixels)
- MirrorOutput = 2 (mirror rigth image!)
- CroppOutput = 0 (no action)
- ConvertByIrfan = 1 (propaply needed!)

anderen 5 mitgelieferten Hilfsdateien (slideshow.exe, slideshow.ini, black.gif, i_view32.ini.

Slideshow.exe: Viewing images with IrfanView
One can produce very simply a fully automatic slideshow including sound using IrvanView and
a further help program (wav.exe). The delay times of the images can be indicated in milliseconds.
Of course, this no competition to professional tools, but is however absolutely simple and free!
The necessary steps are:
- Installation of IrfanView and Wav.
The accurate links are noted in the file slideshow.txt.
The file wav.exe is also contained in the Cosima archive, because it's size is only
a few kilobytes.
- Adjustment of the ini-file slideshow.ini. There the paths of the
programs IrfanView and Wav are to be set. Simply leave Wav.exe best in the current directory.
- Create a list of the images, which are to be shown and write the delay time of each image
behind the file names in milliseconds.
This file has to be named images.txt.
- Copy all images, the sound file (wav or mp3), the file images.txt as well as the other five
provided auxiliary files (slideshow.exe, slideshow.ini, black.gif, i_view32.ini and wav.exe) into
a directory of your choice.
- Start now the slideshow typing slideshow n, whereby n is the number
of repetitions. Without the indication of n the Slideshow is repeated infinitely often.
- If the file images.txt is missing, simply all found images are shown one after the other.
In this case the delay time given in the slideshow.ini is used for all images
(DefaultDelay=6000ms).
- All sounds are played in sequence. If the sounds are too long altogether, they are broken off
at the end of the last image.
With each new repetition of the Slideshow also the sound starts again.
- Details are explained in the file slideshow.txt.
